Picked up a few sheds this weekend to add to the collection, got the old man out he's able to move around now on some milder stuff since his hit and run so he enjoyed that.

Found a really nice 4-point brownie in mint condition and a few older ones. Not as big as one I found last year (last pics), but was a good start to the year had a good time grateful for the finds.

Anybody else get out and find any goods?

Old man was proud when I found this one

This is a really cool picture, was really close to this Doe but if you look closely on the ground to the right infront of the brush is a shed, and when I put the camera down from taking the picture I seen it and that was how I found it was pretty cool.

Seen this done on the site and this was my first time trying it, taking a picture through Binos, worked well this was a long ways off.

Found this guy 230 yards away through the binos, ran up the mountain right away and grabbed it.

Enjoyed the pictures, until you went into the bathroom.

Got a minute so I'll share a story.
As a sculptor I occasionally take on random commissions.
An elderly lady (75-80) asked me if I would make something out of her deceased husband's antlers....
She didn't drive anymore and asked if I would go to her house to talk about designs and pick up the antlers.

It was late in the morning when I get to her place, and she still had on a robe.
I ask to see the antlers and she takes me to her bedroom, where this is a pile of sheds and a few deadheads piled up on the bed.

Seeing this old lady in a nightgown next to her bed with a pile of antlers....
I'm pretty sure I didn't even say goodbye as instinct sent me running.
I've faced charging Grizzlies, this was much worse.

Hahaha yep, as soon as she failed to change the robe would be a red flag lol
