Out of boredom I checked on line, dug out the credit card and did it all fish and hunting. Just black bear moose and elk tags for now, maybe deer later if the scouting shows a good chance of success. Staying close to home again this year.

I usually just get my license so don't have pack tags all spring and summer. Got the 3rd degree shooting gophers on a ranch from a CO about that. A friend from work got a warning while hunting rabbits as he had bought tags but wasn't carrying them while hunting even though none of the species he bought tags for had opened. Until this BS I always bought my tags and license in early March.

Bought my tags last Thursday and had them in hand the following Tuesday.

If only all branches of the government were so efficient!

I used to buy my tags early, not anymore, the reconciliation government might take the gos and reconcile it to ndn only and or leh only, so may as well wait to see if it's a lucky year for leh before buying tags that don't get used.

It would be nice if they would get it together hunt $ fish licenses one site one access number. And no paper hunting license but ya have to stuff 8x11 sheet of paper in your wallet for fishing?

caddisgirl was commenting on that the other day (she got the jump on me and already has her hunting tags and fishing license) ... she asks why is it a different site for the fishing license? And wait a minute.... why do they call it the "Fish and Wildlife ID" when it has nothing to do with fishing?
