Brant Hunting Setup

I have a question regarding the Brant decoy setup. I plan to hunt boundary bay or around the ferry terminal and I know it is quite shallow. How long do my decoy anchor lines need to be? I figured 18' in length would suffice but I don't want to be too short. Any advice would be appreciated. TIA

I spoke to a fellow Brant hunter and he suggested 30' in length. I think I may go with that for now and reduce if too long
