I was wondering if anyone has heard any feed back about that new Bushnell/rangefinder scope.I'm contemplating purchasing one but wouldn't mind any thoughts or feedback before taking the plunge.I'd hate to drop $1000 for a piece of crap...
I assume you mean the Yardage Pro ?
If so I say POCrap !!!

It's Big, it's heavy, it's fugly........and I would seriously doubt the longevity of it when used in the field...far too complex to take some beating I'd think.
Maybe on a Range plinker or for blowing up gophers etc.......
But I'd bet you won't see too many on any Sheep Hunter's rigs:wink:
Thought I Might as well reply before the move:lol:

I think a compact range finder and a regular scope is a much better option. I know when I hunt the alpine, where I would usually need a rangefinder, I routinely fall and bang the shit out of my rifle and scope. I doubt the rangefinder scope would hold up to that kind of abuse.

I mounted this scope on a rifle, it is a huge heavy star wars piece of crap. It is about 20 ounces or more, and creates some mounting issues

For a grand I'd be looking for a good scope and a range finder. Maybe in the generations to come, these things will improve or just plain disappear??
