Anybody here a rumor about a cow season opening up in 7b sometime before christmas? There was some chatter at the local coffe shop and just wondering if anybody else has heard this.

LEH antlerless elk opens tomorrow (Dec 1) in our area of the north Peace. Saw about 100 elk while milking the last minutes of daylight deer hunting today. The friend that I was with tonight is plotting a cow's demise for the morning (lucky LEH holder)

they had one last year after the new year. best bet is to check the regs site and look at the announcements page.

nothing there yet though.

Well if they do open up another GOS, I know a couple areas with far too many elk at this time of year ;-)

For what area? if it is any where around where I am at it would take all of a day and you would have tasty cow treats.
