Hey ya'll,

Looked out into my backyard on Sunday afternoon and saw this guy. He was as relaxed as can be--- laying down, yawning, stretching.
Hung around for about 15 minuets before walking into my neighbours yard.
I have never seen a bobcat in the wild before, I guess liveing in the 'city' isn't so bad. Between the coyotes, bears, whitetail ( ? ) deer, and now a bobcat, Port Moody's not such a bad place.

Oh shoot, now I've given away my location and the fact that there is fur bearing animals here. Will I now be inundated with northern trappers comming into my town and killing my wildlife ?

Can someone help me with getting the pictures up?

Yeah those aren't a common sight in the tri-city. Like eveyone else seen the bears and deer. Great pics. In the second picture it almost looks like a regular cat.

Have a few of them around our place, They like eating house cats, So if you have a cat , please keep it inside.

Huh I live in Port Moody (and Coquitlam) but never saw a bobcat before. I have seen deers, bears, a beeline of ducks crossing the street at Ioco (how cute! The traffic was not impressed), coons, coyotes... how come I don't see them as much when I'm out hunting?
