This is my blackbear from june, had my new bow for three days managed to stalk to 42 yrds he my biggest bear to date I green scored the skull at 19 12/16 last week and I'll be getting an official score sometime this week

no technically it's not green, but the scores still unnofficial .He's way past the sixty day drying period.

You might lose abit from shrinkage but certainly not "inches" ;-)

You realize that ya likely lost out on some inches from waiting so long to get it official... I don't have a P&Y to see where it could've placed.
I know usally I get them scored right at the 60 day drying period but I got lazy I'm also taking in my archery blacktail which has been drying for about 90day hope it still makes 115.Will I didn,t want to post him without pics that'swhy Iwaited so long.

No worries.....like I said it's kinda a welcome surprise to read a "NEW" spring bear thread in November:wink:
I can hardly wait for Spring bear season and I ain't even done this fall yet:roll:
