Zimmerman has been trying to help.
Its certainly a good political move on his part.
That said, I know there are plenty of folks on the industry trying their hardest to knock some common sense into the Feds on all of this.
I would really like to be the fly on the wall inside the office of JT and the Minister as to what is really going on behind close doors that allows them to keep their ears shut and continue on in a very bad way for the future???

I suggest local fishermen and hunters are pawns in the political correctness game and not important ..just look at all the restrictions that make absolutely no sense …didn’t buy a salt water licence last year or this year..not worth the hassle .my guide of over 20 years sold his boat and moved to the east coast.

I couldn’t understand why on a recent trip at port renfrew coho had to be clipped until October 1, and the next day, out at French creek we could keep 1 wild and 1 hatchery??
I am sure someone knows the rationale for it all, whether it is right or not is certainly up for debate.
All I know is, different place, different day, you have to check the refs every time now!
And that’s not fun for those that don’t do it day in day out.
