Avian Flu info

Are we entering another threat of Avian fliu problems in lower BC?Any info would be appreciated!

Further info re Avian Flue---Both local hunting clubs have had a reduction or complete closure re pheasant release hunting due to the outbreak at the suppliers! Not sure if it would be wise to eat local pheasants?? A word to the wise??

Are ducks and geese next??

My wife saw a couple of dead canada geese in a lake near Smithers two days ago and reported it. Not sure at this point what the cause of death was, but definitely not hunting and not likely predation based on the location.
