My son and I are looking forward to it, as long as we don't have family obligations that get in the way..

Was hoping too. Work got in the way. I’ll go out after the long weekend and take the kids camping. Hopefully no snow by then.

Going to stay Oct 1-12 at the cabin and plan on holding out for a larger buck. If nothing happens during that time, I'll return for the last week and try again and probably take what comes my way, big or small. There's a spike fork moose hanging around the hill above the cabin, so Nov will be moose time for me.

The gong show has already started in Region 8 . Steady stream of trucks loaded with quads-SxS pulling trailers etc etc heading up the FRS roads today .
Good luck out there , stay safe shoot straight.

Heading out. 2 hours… Got a week of hunting and fishing.
Kind of warm, but we will still have a good time…When you make a reservation in July you just take whatever weather presents itself
for the hunt…

Whitetails in the tulameen now too?

I had white tails in my lower field in south Surrey. I thought I was hallucinating, but then they ran with their white flags waving!

The Christian Valley posse…

That place is the worst years back ,two separate occasions I was being watched through the scope of some dummies rifle. Also never really understood the purpose of blowing away tiny does ,just to say I got something.

I will go out to just observe the action. Kinda cool to grunt a buck inside of 10 yards till it see's you. Got a moose, no room for a deer.

Be out tomorrow still trying to get 13 yr old grandson his first buck in Reg 3. To warm but it’s fun every time just to get out. We have seen several real nice black bears, usual does & a ton of grouse. They’ll probably be weeded down a bit by this weekend.

My Jeep took a doe Sept 10th. $2,500+ damage adjuster said. Very drivable so life goes on.

That’s bananas. I heard when I moved away from the coast 20 years ago there was WT around herling island. So much much has changed.
