Does anyone know if they are still in business? Tried calling and emailing, no answer or reply. Phone number is not in service.

Is it true that they sometimes squeak?

I say to get a bullpac. Mega dollars with the accessories though.

Glad to hear it. I think it was maybe a post or two from somewhere years ago. I might start looking at getting one of them for my son.

They were in their late 60’s or early 70’s back about 10-12 years ago when I was taking a friends pack in for repairs.

I loved my squeaky WW pack, it put on some great miles!

I believe SSS from this site rocked a WW pack a fair bit for sheep. Going from memory, I think he had a number of issues with it.
The other well respected option for an external hunting pack is a Barney's and I'm pretty sure they're still being produced.

I've no experience with either, as I prefer my internal frame packs, save for a dedicated meat hauling pack frame I have from Cabela's.

I have them.
Yea, they do squeak!
But at the time, they were by far the best pack I could find by a long shot, back in the 80’s.
I still have them now, still use them to this date, and see no reason to spend money on anything more modern now.
There as comfortable as I need them to be, and can switch from hiking pack to meat pack.

Probably is better stuff now, ???
But not enough to go out and waste the cash.

Good memory RO!
Constant failure and repairs. Finally just sold it for $25.
And yes, they do squeak!

Try Backcountry in fort st john. They were a dealer for the wanderer and I know they still have some stuff on the shelf.
