LEH? What’s that?
Thanks guys.
I was calling every hour or two over the previous two days and raking the bush with a old moose shoulder blade when some brush was close enough to paddle up to.

These are sure nice for lone hours in a canoe. https://www.amazon.ca/CUTICATE-Stadium-Bleachers-Bleacher-Portable/dp/B07ZCKF4PD/ref=asc_df_B07ZCKF4PD/?tag=googleshopc0c-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=459274968888&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=10410094703566538231&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=t&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1001943&hvtargid=pla-1410122144333&psc=1

Nice, tfs

Picture says a thousand

Beauty lake, am leaning more toward just that type of hunting, nice and slow let them come to you
Decoying from a boat or canoe is good for close encounters

No we did not but the camp cook thought she heard some light grunts about a half hour before the kaboom. The earliest I’ve had a bull come in crashing and barking is September 11. I figure it never hurts to call, just don’t over do it. Even couple of hours all day has worked for me a lot over the past 50 years. I’ve watched bulls from over a mile away in prime rut time, they picked up there head at the call but still took over a hour to come the distance.
(( A old bull and a young bull on a hill look down and see a heard of cows. The young one says let’s run down and jump one. The old guy says no, let’s walk down and jump them all. ))
Ya got to pace yourself.

Good eats! Thanks for posting
Got 4 gallons of fat off him.
