I’m heading up to hike and hunt Eureka peak for the first time with a buddy but it’s also been a few years since I’ve been up near crooked lake. I remember there was a old
logging road that had the giant sign saying motor vehicles were not permitted up there. Is that where I’d hike up to get to the peak and the alpine? I also heard there was a trailhead across from crooked lake, is that right? Is it hard to find? I know I know I should have done some scouting before hand but with work, kids and life in general I was unable to.
