Drove my quad out of the garage at 6:45 this morning and headed out for the cut blocks above my house. Parked the quad a little ways away and hiked in to the top of one of the blocks. I came over a little rise and there was a good blacktail standing skylined at about 200 yards. What a morning, the sky cleared off and the glaciers were my back drop. I just sat for 15 minutes and reflected on the blessings I have recieved this year and enjoyed the view. Life is good in Squamish!! http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc96/traviskubin/secondblacktail45resized.jpg

That is great! It is always special to take those few moments to ponder and reflect on the blessings we have. It sure adds meaning to experiences for me. Congratulations on the buck!

Most of the time all I am seeing is the views as well. I have seen great views this year in McKenzie, Cranbrook, Keremeos, and Clinton while my hunting buddies have all been succesfull. I am not sure what to take from me only being succesfull around home but my wife sure does!
