Will be doing a couple hunts on the Muskwa this year, going to pack a collapsible rod and reel. What tackle should I try when we have downtime?

thanks everyone

Depending how far upstream from Ft.Nelson you are going:

jigs single or split tail 2-3 " good for bull trout
spoons assorted less than 2" good for bull trout
spinners med/ small panther martin are good for Grayling, smaller bull trout
Not sure of water clarity when you are going. Have some brighter and some darker colours

Good luck

Closer to Ft. Nelson, same lures could bring in Pike, Walleye and Burbot.

Upper or lower Muskwa, focus on where clear(er) and murkier water comes together.
