This girl of ours has been trying for a bear for over a year and finally was able to harvest a beauty....without dad helping! As you all know, bear is a great source of protein and we especially like them made into Jalepeno Cheddar Smokies! Check out the video to see all the details.....

Vid embedded in post, hope you don't mind. ;-) I ran into serious swarms of skeeters on Canada Day paddling my favourite alpine lake. No bear, but landed enough rainbow trout for a nice lunch the next day.
