They seem to have no problem bedding down at my sites, hopefully they are still that calm and in the area when I am in a stand with an arrow knocked.

I'm reviewing these pics with hungry eyes on repeat lol

Extremely excited for what this year has brought and opening, despite all of the adversity us resident hunters are facing and enduring, wish everybody a great season and congrats to those who won draws!

Very cool. Looks like some decent animals in the areas you have targeted. Hopefully they stick around and you can arrow them. Good luck!

That’s awesome.
As long as the area where you have your elk photos around have sign of fall rubs and wallows, you should be good to go.
If not, they may be elsewhere come opening but it shouldn’t be all that far from your cams.

Hahah yeah like clubs, super thick.

The Blacktails are from region 2, Fraser Valley. The Elk are from region 8

Some pretty nice animals. That one elk is gonna be a dandy. Don’t forget to set your dates and time, you will refer back to them often as you add cams and the years go on. It helps to develop patterns. Thanks for sharing your photos.

Here are some pics from I think 3/4 weeks ago, I set the dates and times properly so next time I check them I will know.

Unfortunately the two Bucks that were there every other day have just vanished for the previous 2 weeks before I checked my cam, any idea why that may be? checking too often? moved up higher? maybe they are back though I am going to leave it alone for a month.

The biggest Buck showed up again with some new growth, hoping he branches into a 4.

Here are some Bulls, one again bedding hahaha. The other one I believe to be the Bull I posted already that I think will be a legal 6. Then it looks like a new one I haven't seen that looks massive.

Just a tip that I had to learn the hard way, move you camera quite a bit further back from that salt block, almost to the point that it is not pointed directly at it,,, saves on tons of repetitive pictures.

I like those Stealth Cam pics!
Which model are you using?

Great pics...I find often that the mulies are rovers, they don't stick to the same core habitat as WTs - hence why they'll just disappear sometimes..

It seems like the Blacktails are even worse wanderers/random than the Mulie's, at least the BT's im dealing with anyways

Just recently found out about that salt lick ban in 4 that sucks! I am very novice with this stuff (1st time/year) but I put more cams up in my spots and have one on a watering hole for the Elk that gets the second most action after the lick cam.

Thats too bad man! Really hoping that doesn't happen here or i'm sure it will be hard for me to find where the moved too
