i know its the weekend but where might one find a deer hunting spot in the fraser val

Well unfortunatelly i have to hunt on weekends just like most. I have never hunted the fraser valley / mission areas before i do live in the maple ridge area and only have a couple weeks left ( maybe 5 hunting days ) of hunting. any good spots to try where im not just driving around wasting the days looking for area. i dont mind the walk at all prefer it.

Good luck to you! I'm in region 8 and open season closes after tomorrow. I'm sure it will be crawling with hunters getting that last day in, trying to find their 'any whitetail buck'. Then it's off to Region 3 till Dec 10th...

Good luck TravisC. I would shy away from the Hope area though as I've never come across deer or bear out that way this late in the season.

I'm aiming to be out tomorrow, hopefully with a skiff of snow to help out!

FYI,

I think you still have to buy an extra hunting license for the Fraser Valley.
Last time I got one you had to be a Fed member or produce a copy of your homeowners insurance policy.

Is it still like that today?

you do need a special licence (liablity insurance) for certin parts of hunting in the fraser valley
