I am looking for an update on the weather in the Kamloops/Savona area. Is there much snow on the ground, at what elevations, how deep, etc.? Any information is much appreciated.

Temperatures are at Tunkwa Lake. Mulies have been rutting for some time. Whitetails are extremely active in the mornings. This morning one of the wild horses here ruined my stalk on a 4 pt. Whitey. How many times does that happen?

Reg. 3-27, no snow, zero during the day, minus 10 at nite. No big bucks in 3-27, not worth hunting here. No wild horses here either, some real wild locals though!

A bit north of Kamloops near Knouff Lake the snow level is around 1250-1300 metres, and then there is only a couple of inches. Was around -8 C after sundown tonight, and really calm winds. Probably similar over Savona way. Also it was clear with a 3/4 moon. Good Luck!

City temps are about -4 night and just above 0 in the day. In the hills, can be anywhere from -10 night to 0 during the day, or colder depending on elevation. Clear conditions, cold, dry, hard frost on the ground making it very noisy to walk about. :x Some snow high up. I'm betting on a snow fall when the first wet weather front passes through. Rain forecast for early next week, which will probably give snow at the upper elevations.

Yes, I would think those horses are loving the safety feature on rifles!

Snow up high in 3-29 & 3-28, anywhere from 6 to 8 inches. I used chains this past weekend for access to get higher. Some snow came on the 17th staring at 2:30pm. Lower elevations crunchy for sure as snow was turning wet & lighter. More snow on it's way early next week the forecast says.
