With all the focus on the Peace region, I guess no one's paying attention to the new requirement for grouse tags this year

I thought April fools only goes until 12PM. What time zone are you in?! If it's not PDT, you might actually need a tag ;)

Im not worried.
I was able to purchase a lifetime grouse tag through BCWF.

What you should really be concerned about is the new compulsory inspection requirement for grouse. You are now required to bring the detached beaks to get inspected.

I still recall that thread years ago where someone made a fake but very legit looking BC ministry press release about grouse tags for $2.50 being required for the next season. Some people were truly infuriated. The ones that got the joke kept it going for quite a while. Good times back when the internet was young and free :)

^^ That was ole’ ElkmasterC instigating that, wasn’t it?

The funnier part to me was when some couldn’t be convinced that it was a joke after all.

Zero chance of me turning them in. I save them for stew.

Nothing wrong with rectums. Just don't ask them for the "bone in".

Can't quite put my finger on it, but that last part sounds eerily familiar to something else that happened in early 2020...
