No great story here, I managed to get friday off work, decided to give my reg 3 & 5 spots a try. Well after a day and a half of not seeing any good huge buck sign in 3, I headed for 100 mile to try some of my trusty old spots, I was moving down an old road through heavy fir regen when a doe comes flying out of the wood work about 30 yards, right behind her was this guy on her ass, he looked pretty awesome flying through the regen, had one second to make decision as he crossed the road. My gun did its thing and vaporized the heart to little pieces. Hes not quite was I was hoping for, but after passing on a couple smaller ones, and since it will be my last trip to reg. 5, I figured what the heck! Besides I figure I better scratch my itchy trigger finger , before next week in Sask.

Nice buck mark, I could handle that for sure. Try searching saskatchewanoutdoors.com on youtube and go to "heart attack bucks". It almost made me want to go to Sask.:)

You're a buck killer Mark!! Good going. Would love to see some square on shots of the bucks you're taking as they're my favorite shots (like the one in your avatar)

Farmer, he had a super huge neck, body was about average IMO about 160-170 on the hook!
Tikka, This buck is what Id call an average 4 pointer for 100 mile area, put yer time in and youll find one, I got stacks of racks like this guy from around there!
