Spring bear north island

We are thinking about doing a trip to hardy . To check it out and go spring bear hunting . My question is Is there any good camping spots maybe on the ocean off crown land ? Ocean front camping and bear hunting sounds epic. !! Just curious what’s around Any info would be great Thanks

why don't you look at the off road map book. It shows all the forestry camp sites.

Go west of Hardy or Port Alice. Camping can be on any landing or at either winter harbour or Mahata and area or any place in between.
