Brant Hunt

I've been wanting to try Brant Goose hunting for the past two years, ever since I read an article in a hunting magazine listing it as the #6 of the top ten waterfowl hunts in Canada (only one listed for BC). I was lucky to meet a couple great guys in Trevor Jones and Ken Thompson who were willing to take me out. Opening day, we were out in Boundary Bay and I was able to get my first Brant...lucky for me it was a real nice mature bird. It is now with Dan at Western Taxidermy!

Awesome! I've hunted with Trevor before he got his boat. We waded out into the bay dragging his sets in behind us. That was a cold experience. He's got a good setup now.
