Wow that's great, how much meat approximately off a seal or sea lion?

They are mostly fat and you don't want any on the meat. A 300 pounds harp seal yields maybe 30 pounds of pure meat. There is very cool culinary experiments to do with that meat. The tanned coats is a very nice product as well.

Rather Cool!
Took me right back to my days in the Western Arctic.
Same stuff with seals, but more concentrated on snow & speckle-bellied Geese for birds.
