I walked this timber hard for 3 days and it finaly paid off 25 mins after my brother filled his LEH moose tag about 300yards away

He was in FULL rut and he walked by me chasin a doe about 35 yards away :mrgreen:................i measured his neck it was 37 1/2 inches around and he ways 300 plus

Now i just need to convince the girlfriend to let me bring the mount in the house

You've had a good year. congrats on another critter!

Terry ,Lagoon tax ,Vic BC. He has did lots of mounts for people and i don't know of anyone that has run his work down.

Nice buck. Good eatin'. That area is pretty open. I thought these big bucks like to hide in the thick bush. Anyways congrats on the hunt.

Yeah it was some beautiful timber for sure ....wide open. The wind was blowing hard the whole weekend and all the does were held up in the ravine. I walked up on about 12 the were hanging out in a few of these little shelter areas but no bucks..............but i knew they would be coming into that area soon to get some does. I guess i was right .

con grad's on a very nice mulie buck , maybe next time you shoot one,the next thing you do after cutting your tag is to "cut off its tongue" sure makes for a lot nicer pictures !!!!!
