Hey, new guy here. This is probably a dumb question to a hunter with experience in the area, but are there whitetail deer in the postill lake area near Kelowna? I know there are mule deer up here but I haven't seen any whitetail. I'd like to know if I'm spinning my wheels trying to fill my whitetail tag in this spot. Any info would be much appreciated. Cheers!

Yeah, the idiot factor is definetely there. The amount of garbage I've seen so far is sad. Thanks for the info though! I appreciate it

Yes lots in whole area up there....they will be revving up right now to rut, right now would be a great time to get out and maybe get lucky and at the worst scout some info for next year.

There are definitely white tail around there.
Very very busy area, not just hunting but recreational ATV, dirt bikes etc.

The numbers are definitely lower than they used to be, but they are there. In my opinion the "accessible" areas up there are over hunted.

Opening day of WT doe season I saw 6 gut piles on the way out around the 2KM marker spaced about 100 feet apart each.
