Sharp tails in PG? [Archive]

Anyone else see sharp tails this year. I seen one a couple of years ago, but this year I seen several north west of PG in 7-15. Just checking.

I could ask f&w but every time I’ve asked them questions they think I’m nuts, (they might be right) but not when it comes to animal identification. Like the Elk I didn’t see and now we have a season for them, wolves and grizzlies in the city limits that I was told is just dogs, coyotes and black bears. Mountain Goat that Vern seen, then f&w had to tranquilize one in town and ship it out to the MacGregor Mountains.... Hummm just high jacket my own thread:?

Seen a bunch up north this year. A covey of 11 or so! Big some Biotches!! A meal each I would bet!! Moosin

I see a few here n there, west of the Fraser in reg 5

I've seen them around Quesnel and Williams Lake west side of the Fraser. Also in 7-11 7-12 in from Vanderhoof as well as out in region 6. This year I saw a small covey down around the Blackwater from PG.
Haven't seen much to the east and north of PG though. But that's not where I spend most of my time.

Don’t know about PG but they are around kamloops in a few spots. I think basically from Kamloops cache creek all the way up the Fraser you and beyond you could find them anywhere in there in low numbers.

I'v seen them west of the Fraser R. in 5- 13. But they were spooooky, I would see them on the road and stop the truck 200yd. away they would book it. I did manage to get one though.

always see lots in region 5-2. Like tons of them lots. Been that way for years. Hard buggers to shoot with the 10/22 as they never sit still long enough, even at distance.

See lots of them in 7-10 near the Taco Rd, also around Lintz lk, and Nazko....careful no open season on them in some spots, but there should be.

I have seen lots in 7-12, 7-11, and 6-1. Still hoping to finally get my first one when we go back into 5-13 for my kids drawes.
