Well I was hunting a wooded area near my house where I had seen many does earlier in the season. I spotted a good Heavy tined fork in the trees. As I approached him I saw a nice Doe near by. I also noticed that he wasn't looking at the doe or me but staring into the trees. A nice 3 ponit came up the hill towards us his eyes locked on the doe. I ranged him at 25yrds broadside. Let the arrow fly and...."Crack!!!" It appeared as thought the arrow bounced off. I shoot Lumenoks so it was quite a display. He bolted but stopped behind a tree only about 30yrds away. I waited until he came out from behind the tree and slipped an arrow in at a quatering away angle. He didn't run far. But all down hill.

The "crack" Ended up being a direct hit on the elbow. He had raised his leg and moved it into the vitals

Right on Steve! Sometimes those BT's are as crafty as WT's.
