Compulsory Inspection??

Hey Everyone.

wondering if anyone knows of a directory for a compulsory inspection.

If an animal was shot in a certain region does the inspection have to be done in that region. I called the gov number and nobody called me back.

you can do the compulsory inspection in a different region. ie if you shoot a moose in region 6 you can do the inspection in Langley. There should be a directory of compulsory inspection places in the regs. Here is an online listing:

some animals in certain regions such as cougar must be inspected in region, page 21 of the regs
IMO all animals should be inspected within the region they were taken.

As far as I know lots of guys inspect when they get home.

I had my reg 3 goat inspected here in the LM. No issue.

Compulsory inspection centres for each Region are listed on the first page for the region in the regs….hope that helps.
