Started using this method for preservation of our mushrooms we forage. Pretty simple wash and cut into bite size pieces then half fry them in olive oil and a bit of salt , drain mushrooms then put in large muffin tins and place in the freezer. Once frozen remove and vacuum seal. When making a meal simply add a mushroom muffin. Cheer and happy foraging. BT1

We blanched ours. Then froze them. Inky's and meadow mushrooms.

You can also dry them or pickle them.

That looks good.
Likely try it methinks.

With the current DELUGE here methinks they will soon be a popping.

Last year or so we've take to canning chanterelles: http://www.huntingbc.ca/forum/showthread.php?160952-Canning-Chantrelle-Mushrooms
