just wondering what the fire status is like around churn creek was going to go for a drive through the area late next week but wasn't sure if it was still active or closed for public. thanks

Burned pretty good towards Brown lake..turnoff to black dome mtn..not certain if it's still burning..

My understanding is that it burned to the ground....Too bad, was a nice spot.....

Are you talking about the cabin in the Yalakom about 68K from the turnoff at Moha?
