there second one worked!! not much of a story, after all the walking, sitting, calling and quading, got this one on the way into an area i wanted to hunt, standing on the road, broadside 125 yards, first shot bull didn't move, second shot he slowly walked off into the bush, walked up, saw NO blood!! heard some thrashing which sounded distant, looked to my left and there he was, 50 feet into the bush.. down and done, 2 perfect double lung shotd 6" apart!! tough moose!!

my first and only moose to date was the same thing i shot him and he just stood there and looked at me i was goign to shoot him again cuz he was gettin ready to go and then he fell face first in the dirt...congrats on a nice moose by the way
