HBC data leak?

Upon logging in today, I was notified by Apple via phone alert and email that my password for HBC (and another very popular Canadian gun site) was compromised via a data leak...

anyone else experience this?
used different passwords on both sites, can no longer get onto the other site but was able to salvage my password here..

I don’t use Chrome... and considering this is the second time I’ve got this alert (previously unrelated) and last time it was 100% true as a week later the company went public about a data breach.. I’m going to err on the side of caution here.

I've not seen anything and I scrutinize the new member applications hard near every day. They have to have a legitimate e-mail address or they get punted. That said I'd not worry about it. Hell most members here don't even use their own name!! And well all hunt in Reg 9 !!

either way this serves as a good reminder to not reuse passwords across sites and to make use of a password manager application that will automatically create secure passwords for for ya
