3-18 deer population?

I was talking to a buddy who fishes in 3-18 in the Pimainus Lake area but he said last time he went there much of the area was clear-cut pretty severely due to the pine beetle.

Are things growing back?

With no LEH opportunities this year again I'm looking to expand my horizon and try somewhere other than the same old same places I've been haunting.

So I got looking at the map books and was curious about 3-18.

Tunkwa/Leighton part of 3-18 has been decimated. The last remaining shelter way in the back was logged last summer and the regen is slow at best. Plus the night lights have been hard on it too :(

I know a hunting party of 3 that hit 3-18 every year. They don't seem to be having problems getting deer. It helps that they know the area well but I think it is worth trying. Some good areas close to there as well.
