here is my west kootenay LEH bull.it all started one May when the LEH catalogue came out.i ordered 1moose,1elk and 1 sheep.I was informed later my sheep and elk were on back order but my moose would be shipped out oct26.The delivery truck must have got lost because I had to pick him up 4km past a road closure.The game cart we were using was rated for 550lbs and i think we exceeded that as we were able to bring him out in one trip.Sorry no other pics as camera decided to malfunction .Nice clear cold morning i decided to check out a clearcut i had seen moose in previously,setup to do some callingbut got no responses.Figured the rut was over but gave it a try.After 15 min decided to go walk the older section of the cutblock and ran in to fresh track.Seems the bull and i passed each other without knowing it as he was on a higher knoll heading for where i was calling.PATIENCE.One 308 cartridge later the freezer is full.thanx to Savage Shooter and his dad for helping me get him out .would have liked to get him with my bow but is the only bull i saw .
