I think your discovery project is absolutely an outstanding idea . Hands on learning is exactly what some people need . Hell I probably would have stayed in school if I had that opportunity. Good on you guys . Absolutely fantastic!!!

Try without next time, you will like it.;-)

Many variations on schnitzel in Germany & Austria. Jägerschnitzel (Hunterschnitzel) is one of my faves & features a mushroom sauce. Classic Wienerschnitzel is breaded & served with a slice of lemon. All good.

Haven't watched the vid yet to see what sauce used for the bear schnitzel, on the to do list.....

Yes Mike, I was talking about the "classic" schnitzel, all the others are just a variation of the original.

I guess if you pound the hell out of it enough prior to breading that might work... :lol:

Only ever had one that was somewhat palatable, and he was pretty damn young.
Never found a mature billy to be anything more than boot leather.

Of course when you make schnitzel you have to pound the meat,
regardless what kind you use, but didn't really have to pound the "hell" out of.
Like I said, it was good.
