Just wondering if there are any hints of FN bans on the horizon for Region 6?

Did anyone run into any problems there last year?

I was up there five or six years ago and the FN folks I ran into doing remediation work on deactivated logging roads gave me tips on where to find moose.

Another option that has been a good path in the past is simply call band office in whatever area you plan to hunt and ask permission if you are worried about it.

There are some really great FN folk out there.
Had a similar experience some years ago now with some upper band members from outside Cache Creek.
Was given lots of details where to try and how to work the area.

Its certainly not all of them.
Its certain bands and sometimes just certain members.
Same could be said for folks of all types.

The optics is just greater now because there are more closures, more limited areas and more talk about shutting off access.
Example like the recent thread that Ourea posted.
Again, seems to be the same band, causing the same grief in the same area around there.

Some areas are closed by them for fishing too, not just hunting.
But I agree there are some good people.

No problems at all. They put on a little bit of a show, road blocks, gates etc but that didnt stop anyone from hunting
