Barnett XP-400 versus Bear X Intense CD Crossbow ?

Just wondering if anybody has a opinion on either one of these crossbows . I know the Bear is slightly heavier , and the Barnett has the crank ( heard both good and bad regarding the crank ) . Supposedly the crank is quite loud and can fall off quite easily . I am looking for longevity of the crossbow without breaking the bank .

Have you thought about or looked at Excalibur crossbows? A lot less moving parts and very easy to replace worn or broken parts. Lots of speed and power. Customer service is great as well.
my apologies for not answering your exact question but I feel the Excalibur crossbows are too good to be overlooked.

I have looked at Excalibur CBs as well . They seem a fair bit wider and pack a little less punch for what I am wanting to spend . I would be using it up on a tree stand .
