Pendulum sights

I was doing some reading on a archery web site and the posters there mentioned using a pendulum sight if sitting in a tree. Has anyone here ever used one of these? What are your thoughts on them, and do they actually work as described?

They do work - and some are "lockable" so that they can be used as a regular sight. Not sure I'd be comfortable using one though. :confused: It'd take lots of practice to get to 100% trusting it.:|

I have used em .... they work good ...but I find them to be heavy ...kinda clunky .... they wernt for me
