Last day geese

Made it out on the last day of spring goose with Tom and Darcy. Not much flying but we each had a chance and made the most of it and dropped a good size goose each!
Lots of mallard pairs around and I'm seeing Gadwal, Widgeon and Green Winged Teal paired up too. Lets hope for a nice dry spring!

Haha,,,,,,sounds like a common theme for the last day of the season. My buddy and I got to take one shot each, as well. The only two birds that came anywhere near us. Was a nice day, though.

This year I blanked on the few days I got out for geese. Public land hunting in the Pitt Marsh and just some bad weather/luck...
Hoping to get out more times next year! Congrats on the last day success

It was tough up there. Blanked 4 times at least there too. Birds just weren’t flying....
