I remember a story from my ice climbing days about a guy going for a midnite unload in an outhouse near Banff and sitting down, only to have a weasel jump up and nip his nuts. There was a lot of blood and stitches involved. Since that time I’ve always looked before I dangle anything in strange places...

... Since that time I’ve always looked before I dangle anything in strange places...

Many moons ago while working for Alberta Fish & Wildlife (Back Country Patrol north of the Crowsnest) my immediate superior admitted to this same phobia.
He shouldn't have!! https://www.tnof.ca/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/Heheh.gif

No sooner had he left our backwoods camp than I ran down to Blairmore to pick a few items up.
A hinge, ostrich feather and some heavy fishing line.
Partner helped me knock over the outhouse, drill a hole in the back wall under the seat, and install the ostrich feather on the hinge such that it hung straight down and could not be seen when the outhouse was righted.
Then we waited...

In a few days our boss came for another visit.
As hoped, he did hit the outhouse.
Let him get settled, than gave a viscous tug on the fishing line!

AAAAAARRRRGGGHHH!!

The door flew open violently!
And I swear I had NO Idea a man with his pants around his knees could waddle so dam fast!! https://www.tnof.ca/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/ROFLMAO.gif
Left more than a little "sign" while doing so...

Took a spell before he saw the humor...

The little gadget lasted a few more weeks, until I whacked a female Greater Yellow Legs when she was using the facility. Had to apologize profusely, and remove the gadget right then and there.
In hindsight, guess I was lucky she didn't arrest me...

Cheers,
Nog

That’s an awesome story Nog! One night years back in central Mexico we put a plastic iguana in the bowl of our buddies camper toilet to scare the piss out of his girl. It worked <sort of>... She got up in the night, didn’t even see it, and pissed all over it;)
