Where to try on boots?

I'm up in Terrace and will be heading to the LML this spring/summer for a visit (COVID permitting). I want to get myself some high end boots. I don't have anything local and I want to try them on before I buy, that is, I don't want to order online. I'm looking at Meindl, Kenetrek and Crispi boots and I'm size 13. Where in the LML would one go to try on a large selection of high end hunting/mountaineering boots? Thanks

Not familiar with the LML, but outdoor essentials in Smithers stocks a few boots, hanwag and lowa’s plus a couple others, but didn’t look to see what they were.

Italian sporting goods (Vancouver) has some Crispi boots. Valhalla pure Outfitters (Abbotsford & Vancouver) has hanwag and I think they also carry Scarpa.

Vpo for hanwag. Also if you are downtown van Fjalraven sell hanwag boots. I have trappers tops and Yukon’s and like them a lot

Great North precision in Kelowna has crispi boots , my hanwags from VPo are great

Alpine Start in Vancouver had a decent selection of Meindl's...haven't been there in a year so I'm not sure of their current inventory.

Ask around in Smithers. I know one of the shops carries Meindl's there. Ordered a set for my son a few years back, so I don't remember what shop they were.

You can try All Star Shoes in Terrace. We bought a pile of boots from them in 2018 and they had a good variety of quality boots. I believe they had several models of Hanwag, Scarpa, Asolo, Garmont, Lowa and perhaps a couple more.
