Good luck . I think its going to be a good year for harvesting some decent rams.

I’m definitely headed out. I’m trying to talk my partner into getting a trailer for his pedal bike so we can go further in

Going in with horses. Third sheep hunt - first one using horses. Will be a new area. Lots of preparation and little time, but I better do it before I get too old.

Last year was my first official sheep hunting year. Going to give my first crack at stones this year. Then if that doesn’t plan out then chase bighorns til the very end. I can see how some call this a “sickness”

Hiking off the highway. Heading in for the opener 10-14 days. Started training with a heavy pack before Christmas trying to lose some weight and get further back.

Flying in Sept - 13th to the 22nd, for Stones, with a non-resident buddy who will be coming along and carrying a goat tag. Short flight but should be a fun area

Will set aside a week in Oct as well for bighorns.

Headed out this year & it's about time. I haven't been able to go for the last 4 years.

Where I go depends on LEH results.

Tossing the idea around. If we go, it will be back to the Kechika with the jet rigs.
Heard that damn few rams were taken up there last season due to the lack of clients for the guides.
Did hear of one absolute Hammer of a Stone that was though.
Still thinking it over... for now...

Yes I have my own. It'll be their second major trip into the mountains. The first one was for moose. I'd be lying if I said everything went smoothly on that trip, but at least I was able to get a much better idea about what works and what doesn't. I'll be spending the late winter, spring, and early summer working with them to iron out a wrinkle or two. Training is something that never ends, but is something that is actually part of the fun.

Flying in. Hope I get the draw! Otherwise gonna try to go to an area as remote as possible. Need to recruit a hunting partner too lol

I hope to still be climbing mountains at your age. Guys like you inspire me to stay active. Hopefully you have some kids/nephews to help pack some of the load for you.

Yup! My fourth hunt. This one'll be a fly-in, 2-week solo. One year younger than IronNoggin.

At 60+ myself, counting on couple buddies, Rambo greenhorns to help me out helping them out.
Would be nice to help them take their 1st Rams. Looking like Richards Bat, or way further, Gatho Chiska.

Can't loose it's all just wonderful to take in Stones Country.

Holding off on the Moose and Elk with these guys should be fun.
