can anyone tell me about pheasant hunting in zone 4? [4-6 4-7 ?]
any suggestions or leads would be greatly appreciated.

The only place I know that you can hunt! pheasant in 4-07 is in the creston valley wildlife area. Check the Regs. for seasons. You also need a creston wildlife license. $10..00. You can buy it over the internet. A dog would also be needed.

I think the best pheasant hunting in region 4 is done on private land. If you can get permission and you have a decent dog, there is some fine hunting to be had.

Ive seen alot of cocks south in region 8. But is it huntable land?(not private) That is the question.
Your best bet is to go to a hunting lodge on private land.
