I have been hunting BC for a while now and there have been some nice 4 points hitting the ground for me over the seasons, usually getting my 4.
This year I didn't connect with one because I was busy chasing this deer around, managed to track him down to 80 yards but through the thick brush I couldn't be sure it was him and didn't shoot, probably should have just shot through a tree with the .35 whelen, i could only see brown and no antler, knowing he was with other bucks the time i as tracking and the trail's had separated a couple times I couldn't be 100%, gonna get the cams out there and nail him next season. region 1-6 haha

Ya I posted online a while back and was 50/50 elk vs deer, there is another small buck left in the pic confirming its a deer, the pics were taking though the 12x50s no tripod while I was tracking him

Nice picture, really cool terrain, would love to hunt country like that. Very tall, not overly wide as ears are back in both photos and the silhouette against the snow always make the animal jump out. Folks need to get out more in the field if they think its an elk, not that it is not as tall as a young bull but body stature, torso, neck length... the stance alone.
Anyways. Quite the stud. Cams up there sounds good. Finding out where he is early season and taking a crack at him there sounds even better.
