gulf island blacktail bucks down

Haven't ever hunted blacktails before so this year I gave it a shot, I got access to a good chunk of private land to hunt on hornby where I just inherited a trailer and small piece of land with my wife, met a few of the neighbors and such, got access and well here are two nice blacktails my first and second blacktails. very different than than hunting 4 points on the mainland and brings me back to still hunting in the east. 10/10 would recommend blacktail hunting haha

I used to spend time next to Helliwell on my then girlfriend's property. Those deer are so tame. Does it change during hunting season?

The definitely are not tame deer, the bucks act just like bucks in hunting season, they get outta dodge when they see or hear anything, even the does were tough to get into buckshot range.
