well we went out hunting and we just turn around the truck and my dad lks in his mirror and yell moose chasing us so we stop and we thought it was g2 jump into the back of the truck it runs off and its swetted up really bad so we new the wolves would show up so im waiting and my bro yell wolf white 1 and it stops where we cant c it so i run down the road to get a crack at it and lk infront of me to be in a staring match with a black wolf at 15feet so i bring my gun up and boom lk over theres the white 1 boom managed to get 2 of them and saved the lil moose for a while so heres some pics

Nice work on the wolves. I defanitely would be getting at least the heads done up. Not very often you get to see one let alone shoot two. Where they male or female?

I got a chance to see one from about a mile away through a spotter on my last trip - I thought that was cool.


A 15ft shot on a Wolf still doesn't top being bitch-slapped by a Humpback though. :lol: :wink: :lol:

On an interesting side note - I have heard rumors that there have been some wolves seen on the westside of Kelowna recently. Althought I know theyre around on the east side here, especially up towards big white, I saw one right down in North Kelowna, a long shot from any mountains or the aberdeen chain.

Just an interesting note that theyre spreading extensively

There was a pack of 14 spotted right behind Peachland a couple of years ago. May be the same pack.

That's awesome. Congrats on 2 great dogs. Nice to see some of those critters getting dropped. Too many of them around. We stopped and helped a guy load up a moose the other day and he had a beauty wolf in the back that he killed that morning. Great to see some pressure being put on them. If we want to save the mountain caribou we need to thin out those dogs.
