2 less bucks in 5-14

We shot these bucks after a long week in 5-14a hunting moose. We came out with no moose not even one sighting, very disappointing but nice country up there. We got these 2 bucks in an area near Williams lake. It was my buddies first deer ever and I was glad to share the experience with him. He shot a decent 3 point and I shot a really nice 2 point. We saw about 6 bucks together my buddy shot his first and about about 5 seconds after I shot mine doing a little trot about 175 yards away. I actually passed on a smaller 4 point to shoot the 2 because it had a much bigger body. I gutted, skinned and quartered both animals and we carried them out about 4 km's. It was a bit of a struggle with all the weight but very rewarding. My buddy had a great time on his first hunting trip ever. I included a picture of the wall tent we built for less than 800 dollars and it worked like a dream. Overall it was a little disappointing not getting a moose or even seeing one for that matter but it was my first moose hunt ever and I couldn't expect the much. All and all a great trip with a good buddy some great memories and the best scenery in the world.

all you have to do is e-mail them to mark. I forget his rate though. I think it is 1 case per pic!!HE is a computer wiz kid.!!

Mavrerick at least you saved your hunt ,you went home with something ,meats meat and you have it in the freezer for this winter ,better then nothing.

Your right hunter1947, it was disapointing not seeing any moose but i made the most of the trip and the meat will be very tasty.
