I cooked up a batch of Moose Ribs last night, "Flinstones Style", on the Barbeque. Turned out real well, the kids just loved them!

Very cool!
I have a 5 yr old daughter that pretty much refuses to eat any meat if it's removed from the bone. She's gonna be jealous when I show her these pics! Hell, I'm jealous!

Me jealous, I ate my last piece of moose about 2 weeks ago! Unless a miracle happens in the next week, ill be living on deer for the next year. Ill be ok, ive done it before. Seeing the bottom of my freezer is not something im used too.
(miracle= seeing a spike/fork before end of month)

The ribs were simmered in a lage Turkey Roaster for about 1.5 hrs.
1 liter apple juice
handfull of whole peppercorns
Water to cover ribs.

Remove from roaster, lightly coat ribs with olive oil.
Sprinkle liberally with Montreal Steak Spice.
Throw rack on BBQ, med low heat, for about .5 to .75 hrs
Brush with BBQ sauce, a few times in the last 15-20 min to glaze.

Ready.

NOTE: The ribs could have simmered for another half hour.
