Hunted this past weekend and had a blast. Called in 6 bulls(moose) over 3 days, had a couple within spitting distance. None big enough, or small enough to take. Heard Elk bugling everyday, saw deer, walked in giant bear tracks and enjoyed the bush. Lots of folks driving around and never saw a single person on foot. The bulls all came into calls at the last few minutes of light...needed another 5 to count to 10. Good luck everybody!

The words of a true outdoorsman. Meat in the freezer is a bonus, but the real prize is spending time surrounded by trees and animals.

Good for you. I’m glad you had a great trip.

Like others have said, the hunt/surroundings is everything and meat is just the bonus. Nice to see someone share this view which doesn’t seem common anymore. Glad you had a great trip Pinewood:)

Ya I found it cool to hunt in the Peace country. Where a size 10 boot didn't fill the back foot track of a grizzly. I couldn't get the moose to show themselves. They would stick 50 to 100 feet in the bush.
Fun times.
